North America (which includes Mexico) is ever bit as rich in sights and ancient civilisations as it's
southern counterpart and quite a bit warmer to boot. The Aztec and the Mayan are
names of a few of these civilisations whose presents still remains. Mexico is a
great place to see both.
To the right in my sombrero, I'm in Oaxaca going by the name Señor Wombato. Below to the right, you can see me in Mexico city, that huge Spanish cathedral in the background use
to be an Aztec temple. And directly below check out one of the Mayan's crowning achievements, Chichen Itza.
One of the things I saved from my Mexico trip was a bus ticket. I scanned a
picture of it on my return, (it's at the bottom of this page). Please note the
name on the ticket for all you doubters!
Next stop the United States, the big apple and an even bigger hole. A photo stop at lady liberty and the Grand Cannon completed my tour of the Americas.
Despite having travelled widely throughout this continent often considered
dangerous, I never once felt scared, that is until I went to New York City and
had my photo taken at the top of the Empire State building (below), one gust
of wind and my travelling days would have been over for good.
One day I will go see the Hollywood sign, Panama Canal, Amazon
jungle and all the other great wonders of this enormous land mass.
