They live among us... in numbers that constantly surprise. Since I started my travels and show-cased them on-line. I've been contacted by at least five or six other wombats with a taste for travel. Always delighted to hear from them, here are a few comments/photos that have made there way here..
> Hello, I have this little stuffed wombat, and since we are moving in August for Odense, Denmark, I have decided to put up a travelling wombat II on my website, obviously, Mr wombat is far superior to Wally, but nonetheless I was wondering if you could mention Wally, the Travelling Wombat the 2nd on your website? - Zoe
> Hello, again. Wally. Wally admires Mr Wombat. He's his role-model! Well,
last time I emailed you, I had a website for him, but that one failed. So now
that I've moved to Odense Denmark and have travelled with to other countries,
I was wondering if you could change the link on your website from my old
website to my new
website -
www.freewebs.com/travelingwombat
It's not done yet, we're still going to Italy, Amsterdam, France, Spain I hope,
Poland, Finland, some other places that I can't remember. Thanks, Zoe
I'm an emigrated wombat who currently lives in Switzerland. I've already been to London and dug up a garden and travelled all over Switzerland. On the photo you see me on the balcony of foster mum's sister in Zurich. I envy you for your extensive travel experience and hope I will get to see as many things as you have. - The Swiss Wombat
> You are not going to believe this, but you are not the only travelling wombat. I have a remarkably similar looking wombat, Jonathan who has been to remarkably similar places. After years of piss taking from friends and girlfriends for being unable to travel anywhere without Jonathan (I am 26!) I was pointed to your site by one of my mates who is off travelling. To say I'm stunned that Jonathan has a kindred spirit is an understatement. I'll try and get some photos to you.
> No message, but a loads of great photos from a whole family of travelling wombats. All taken in Australia:
> And some more.. (this one looks like he eats far too much)
